Geneva C. Brown, Associate - Geneva C. Brown focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, with significant experience on mergers and acquisitions within the life sciences and health care industry.


  • Christian A. Matarese, Associate - Christian Matarese focuses his practice on domestic, cross-border, private and public mergers and acquisitions. He also advises on private equity, venture capital and joint venture transactions as well as general corporate matters.  In 2015, Mr. Matarese was named an “associate to watch” for nationwide private equity buyouts by Chambers USA.
Barton J. Winokur, Partner - Barton J. Winokur, who joined Dechert in 1965, has been a corporate partner for more than forty years and is the Immediate Past Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Throughout his career, he has served as chair of Dechert’s mergers and acquisitions and international law groups, and was the resident partner of the London office from 1975 to 1979.
