How Mindfulness can Combat Legal Burnout

During this session, the instructor will discuss the specific factors that make lawyers vulnerable to high levels of stress and anxiety, which often leads to burnout. Attendees will be introduced to the benefits of mindfulness and be given the building blocks for sustainable, tangible methods for managing stress and increasing mental wellness. The program does this by discussing the physical and emotional manifestations of stress, how this can impact a lawyer’s professional life, and how mindful meditation can be a tool to effectively manage these ailments. In addition, the session focuses on how mindful meditation can help lawyers hone the skills that are so pivotal in the profession including effective collaboration, team building, and active listening.
