Substance Abuse & the Legal Profession – On Demand

Substance Abuse & the Legal Profession – On Demand

Sponsored by Lexvid

This program highlights the dangers of addiction in the legal profession, addressing topics such as the substantial prevalence of addiction in the legal profession, the science behind addiction, the different effect addiction can have between genders and personality types, and the often overlooked addictions of sex and gambling.

Speaker:

Before establishing her solo practice, Attorney Carol M. Langford was a partner with the California law firm of Carroll, Burdick & McDonough, where her main focus was as a litigator and ethics advisor. Today she teaches ethics as part of two adjunct professorships at the University of San Francisco School of Law and the University of California Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.

FREE!

One CLE unit - Prevention of Substance Abuse

Note:  Although most of the material regarding the class states that the CLE credit is for Ethics, the class is clearly for Prevention of Substance Abuse.  I have taken the course myself and the certificate I received is for Prevention of Substance Abuse credit.
