Wage & Hour Updates: Best Practices for Employers in 2016
This webinar will focus on best wage-and-hour practices for employers in 2016. It is designed to assist employers in staying current with key developments from 2015 and those expected in 2016. Specific topics will include the FLSA’s new exemption rules, “on the clock” vs. “off the clock” work, meal and rest periods, increasing minimum wages nationwide, among other subjects. The presenters will also discuss recommended measures to minimize risk, as well as outline how to best deal with problems if/when they arise.
A few minutes of prevention goes a long way towards ensuring successful, productive employment relationships and reducing the risk of lawsuits. Attendees will receive practical training on important legal trends and learn simple actions they can take to protect themselves and their employees.
