The Future of the Legal Department: Insights from In-House Innovators

Sponsored by Bloomberg and Axiom

With the pace, scale and complexity of business continuing to accelerate, corporate legal teams are being pushed to do more with less time and budget, with a higher degree of accuracy and at scale. At the same time, new opportunities are emerging to leverage legal for business insights and advantages. These external pressures are squeezing in-house teams, and forcing GCs to rethink how legal work gets done, and who does it.
It’s no longer a world of just in-house teams and law firms. Today, Fortune 500 companies are increasingly taking advantage of their place within a rapidly changing ecosystem, including alternative legal services providers (ALSPs), the Big 4, legal tech companies, and legal process outsourcing providers (LPOs) and managed services providers. But how do you decide who to work with? What work stays in-house? What kinds of opportunities - from alternative fee structures to provider partnerships - does this dynamic new ecosystem open up?
Join this 60 minute webinar where legal experts, including in-house innovators from Fortune 500 companies, will discuss what the changing legal ecosystem means for today’s legal department. Panelists will share tips, tricks and advice on evaluating providers, restructuring agreements and departments, and allocating legal work across multiple partners.
