Improving Outcomes in Mediation
Sponsored by Dechert LLP
This program will help you work with your clients to optimize your mediation outcomes and reduce decisional errors. Empirical research shows that lawyers err more than 30 percent of the time in refusing to settle. This program will explore the cognitive distortions in the human brain that create these errors unconsciously, and will outline the ten essential steps to preparing for any mediation that will reduce or eliminate unconscious distortions in negotiation decision-making and improve lawyer-client judgment in the mediation process.
