6 Growing Data Risks - February 4, 2021

6 Growing Data Risks Legal Departments Must Protect Against in 2021

Sponsored by Today's General Counsel and Exterro

It’s fair to say that 2020 was a year of disruption. While some of these shifts were fairly predictable (like the launch of the U.S.’s most far-reaching data privacy law to date), more seismic and unforeseen disruptions (a global pandemic and the ensuing rush to work from home) forced abrupt changes in our day-to-day habits and exposed risks in how the General Counsel handles organizational data.

As we look ahead to 2021, our expert panel will review 6 data risks legal teams must protect against in 2021, including…

  • What data risks the general counsel must be aware of (data privacy laws, data breach, etc.)

  • Best practices for creating a comprehensive legal strategy to mitigate these growing data risks

  • Examples of how leading legal departments are leveraging technology to ensure defensibility and efficiency

Speakers:

Michael Rasmussen, Analyst - GRC 20/20 Research, LLC
Daniel Scholler, Product Marketing Manager - Exterro

The attorney-client privilege is one of the most important legal traditions in the United States.
